Danielle Hayes

Danielle Hayes is currently a BSW student at California State University, Chico. Danielle has been working with RISR since October of 2022. Her professional background includes working in various care industries. For many years Danielle worked as a care provider for developmentally disabled adults and children and more recently worked in the medical field as a Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe. Danielle has also had the privilege of working with Hospice of Santa Cruz on their emotional support team. Danielle's passion and interest in social work arose from her time working there. Danielle plans to gain her BSW degree as well as her MSW degree and work towards being a clinical social worker in the field of end-of-life care. In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending most of her time exploring and climbing mountains as well as quality time with her husband and daughter.
